OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Afif Hossain has thrown away his wicket and it was a completely needless shot at this point in time. Flatter ball, landing on middle and skidding away after hitting the surface. FOUR LEG BYES! Shaheen Afridi needs to get his composure back. Aims for a yorker but once again it's an ill-directed full toss down the leg side. Afif fails to flick but it takes the pads and runs wide of short fine leg for a boundary.

Out comes the physio as Afif Hossain looks in some pain out there in the middle. The physio has a quick check on the batter and he looks good to resume.

OH DEAR! Shaheen Afridi gets carried away with his aggression. Fuller and around off, at 89.9 mph, Afif is forward as he pushes it defensively back to the bowler. Afridi collects the ball, turns and has a needless shy at the striker's end. It hits Afif on the ankle, near the unprotected part and he is down in pain. Shaheen quickly goes and apologizes but it seems the damage is done.

SIX! Very, very nicely done. Shaheen errs in line, deviates down the leg side with a fuller length ball, Afif Hossain picks it off his pads and flicks it nonchalantly over backward square leg for a biggie. He is away in style.

OUT! CAUGHT AT FIRST SLIP! Mohammad Wasim has a wicket as well. He dishes out a length ball outside off at 88 mph, it lands and moves away from the batsman who tries to flash his bat at it. No footwork, poor execution and it's a thick outside edge which is pouched safely by Fakhar Zaman. It's once again a sorry start for Bangladesh.

EDGED BUT SAFE! Beautiful delivery from Mohammad Wasim. Some exaggerated away movement after it lands on a length around off, Naim tries to push inside the line but edges it behind. It doesn't carry to the keeper who has dived across to his left. The ball deflects away to point and the batters cross.

On a length around leg, Shanto fails to work it around and is hit on the pads. It rolls to square leg and they cross for a leg bye.

OUT! LBW! A corker of a delivery from Shaheen. He hurls in a cracking full delivery on middle to the right-hander, Saif goes nowhere with his footwork. He talks about the depth in his batting and appreciates the batting efforts of Fakhar Zaman, Khushdil Shah and Mohammad Nawaz yesterday. Informs that Shaheen Afridi replaces Hasan Ali.

Mahmudullah, the skipper of Bangladesh, says that they will bat first. Adds that it is hard to predict the wicket but it looks like a good one. Tells that in a T20 game you need a good start and they would like to improve in that area. Says that bowlers have been putting in the hard yards but the batting department needs to do well. Informs that they are unchanged going into this game.

TOSS UPDATE - Up goes the coin and it lands in favour of BANGLADESH. They have elected to BAT first.

Pakistan would be quite confident coming into this game but they too have some areas of concern and it was very much visible in their opening game. They seem to have found an able replacement for Shaheen Afridi in Mohammad Wasim who was very clinical, especially with the new ball. Hasan Ali also found his rhythm and set up the game nicely for the visitors. Their middle and lower-middle order batting could prove to be a slight worry for them as they have lacked consistency. Their premier openers in Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan perished cheaply in the first game, however, they would look to make amends in the second T20I and see their team through. Having said that, both sides have all to play for and it promises to be an intriguing battle. Stay tuned for toss and further updates.

Bangladesh fought hard in the first game but they had no answers to Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz's juggernaut right at the fag end and as a result, they suffered a defeat. They are certainly missing the services of their experienced players in Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim but it is a great opportunity for their youngsters to step up and showcase their talent. The batting department is a major concern for the Bangla Tigers and it seems that they rely heavily on their skipper, Mahmudullah. They have bowled well in patches and as a unit, they will have to bring their A-game against a strong Pakistan side.

Pakistan came out victorious in the first game of the three-match T20I series and the series sees a quick turnaround where Bangladesh and Pakistan face off yet again in less than 24 hours. It is a do-or-die match for Bangladesh and they would be keen to put their best foot forward if they are to stay alive in the series. Pakistan would look to seal the series in the second game itself and stop Bangladesh from winning another T20I series at home. On that note, a very warm welcome to the coverage of this game.
