Right then! That is all we have from this game and we hope that you enjoyed our coverage. The series now moves to Leeds for the second T20I on 18th July, 2021 at 1430 Local (1330 GMT) and judging by how this game went, we can surely hope that the rest of the series will also provide us with plenty of entertainment. So do join us for the second T20I. Till then, take care and goodbye!

SHAHEEN AFRIDI HAS BEEN NAMED THE PLAYER OF THE MATCH! Nice, interesting choice. On a day where batsmen stole the headlines, this bloke had his own say. Afridi says that boundaries are usually short in T20s and the bowlers just gunned for wickets, praising his team's batsmen for putting on a good score. Admits that on true wickets like these, where the ball comes onto the bat, with dew around and also with shorter boundaries, change of pace and variation in lengths are the keys as bowling is very tough. Tells from the heart that doing well is not in his hands but trying hard always is and that is what he always does in every game.

Babar Azam, the Pakistan skipper, is down for a chat. But first, he has to wait for a while as he cannot hear with the fans cheering loudly. He says that the stand between him and Rizwan gave them a good platform and after that, every batter contributed to get them to a big score. Adds that he changes his mindset a bit while playing in the T20 format and enjoys his game. About the bowling, says that they gave their 100 percent and even their fielding was quite good. Credits Shadab Khan for the way he bowled the death over (17th) and took two wickets. Finishes by saying that they want to continue the momentum and look to enjoy the game.

England skipper, Eoin Morgan, is up for a chat first. On being asked as to where did England lack, Morgan says that only one batsman got going, which was the main difference but also looks at it as a huge positive as with just one batter playing, they managed to cross 200. Is happy with the bowlers for starting well and keeping Pakistan under pressure. Feels the plans were in place but the execution wasn't. Feels happy to be under pressure and find out more about his team and how they can improve. Is impressed with Liam Livingstone's knock and says that in the last 6 months, he has watched knocks from Jos Buttler, Moeen Ali and Jonny Bairstow but rates this one as high as any one of those. Agrees that Moeen Ali was promoted in this game to give him more opportunities to bat. Ends by saying that this road to the T20 World Cup is all about giving opportunities to players and picking the best possible squad for the mega tournament.

... THE PRESENTATION ...

Earlier in the game, after being inserted, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan put on a brilliant 150-run stand at the top to put Pakistan in a very strong position. After that, everyone who came to bat played a cameo on a brilliant wicket for batting to get them to 232, their highest T20I score. The English had a tough day with the ball as everyone was taken apart for runs.

England would have wanted a strong start from their openers but that did not happen as Malan fell early and Bairstow and Ali fell for timid scores. Roy clobbered the ball all over the ground as he raced to 32 of 13 balls but could not carry on to get a big score. Livingstone put on a 50-run stand with Morgan but the English skipper was never in full control and fell for 16. While all this was happening, Livingstone was putting on a brilliant master-class of T20 hitting at the other end. He batted brilliantly and kept England in the hunt. He powered his way to a ton but fell towards the death overs. His wicket was the final nail in the coffin as they were bowled out for 201 and fell short by 31 runs. If one of their proper batters had supported Livingstone a bit more, then they could have chased this down.

Pakistan had a great start with the ball as they took 3 wickets in the Powerplay. Afridi took two and Hasnain took 1 but the run rate by England was quite good. After the Powerplay, Shadab Khan took the wicket of a well-set Roy to put England on the back foot and when a partnership was brewing, Wasim took the wicket of the English skipper. They were put under the pump by Livingstone and the game remained in the balance as long as he was out there in the middle but Shadab Khan took the big wicket in the 17th over to put Pakistan well on top after that. He took 3 wickets in total, but Hasnain's performance was very valuable too as he was the one who nailed the yorkers which kept even Livingstone quiet. After Livingstone fell, the bowlers did the mop up and got them to their first victory of the tour.

Finally, Pakistan get a victory on this tour and it has been a well-deserved one. They batted well, bowled well and held their nerves when they were under the pump and their fielding was also quite brilliant. For England, it was a tough day at work. They rested many of their main players and the youngsters could not rise up to the occasion.

18.50

Slower ball, on a length, outside off, Saqib Mahmood swings but misses.

Matt Parkinson is the last man in.

18.4W

OUT! Finally, Haris Rauf gets a wicket. A length ball, outside off, David Willey swings this towards mid-wicket. Gets good connection but Shadab Khan runs across to his left and takes a good catch near the ropes.

18.30

Another slower delivery, it is a dot ball again. On a length, around off, DW gets down and looks to mow a slog but misses and gets hit on the body. The ball rolls behind to the keeper.

18.20

Slower delivery, well bowled! Wider line, just short of a yorker, outside off, David can only squeeze it towards point.

18.14

FOUR! Another cheeky shot. A full toss, around off, Willey walks across once again, intentionally signalling to paddle but then changes his shot at the last moment and reverse paddles it instead, to the right of short third man.

18.11wd

WIDE. That is a touch harsh. Full, outside off, David Willey walks across and then lets it go. The ball is outside the wide guideline but shouldn't the batsman's foot movement be considered?

Around middle and leg, worked towards fine leg for a run. Sensational spell from the young Hasnain, on a night when every bowler has gone for a tour around the park. 4-0-28-1. Ideally, he should be the Man Of The Match because it is his spell which has kept England quiet at one end. But sadly, a batsman will get the MOM.

FOUR! CHEEKY! A slower ball, around middle, David Willey walks across and scoops it over short fine leg. England need 38 from 14 balls.

Saqib Mahmood walks in at number 10, replacing Tom Curran.

OUT! Tom Curran is run out! A high full toss to start with. Tom Curran mistimes it towards cover. He sets off for a single and in the meanwhile, Shadab Khan fires a direct hit at the bowler's end. On being referred upstairs, replays find Curran short.

Is that a run out? There is a direct hit at the bowler's end and it is referred upstairs. Yes, the replay confirms!

17.21

Around middle, David Willey whips it to deep mid-wicket for a run.

17.11

Full, outside off, swung down to long on for a single.

Mohammad Hasnain is back on. 3-0-21-1 so far.

Commentary

The players are back out in the middle. No Jos Buttler today, so Jason Roy is opening with Dawid Malan. Seems like Jonny Bairstow will bat at three. Imad Wasim will start the proceedings. Roy to face. Here we go!

... THE RUN CHASE ...

The bowling from England was taken to the cleaners. Cannot say it was totally bad bowling as Morgan was deliberately putting his bowlers to the sword and taking chances with his bowling combinations. But that affected England as their bowlers were never able to stick to consistent lines. No one could put any kind of pressure with Tom Curran finishing with the most number of wickets. Seems like a bridge too far for England to cross. But, can they? Stay tuned.

Stuart Broad's home ground is one which has very small square boundaries. So no surprises why Eoin Morgan chose to field. That meant Pakistan needed a minimum score of 200, to be competitive and competitive they surely were. They entered with a new opening combination of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan and the duo batted well for 10 overs, getting 80 but then changed their gears altogether. 152 runs came in the next 10 overs, as after Babar and Rizwan's 150-run opening stand, everyone who came in played brilliant cameos.

Phew. We have a break. Yay! What was that? Slap. Bang. Wham. Slaughter. With Eoin Morgan donning the role of a scientist prepared to experiment with his team, Pakistan left no guns barred to showcase their intention. They are not here to be guinea pigs of England's experimentation. What a batting show.

OUT! A run out to end the innings. PAKISTAN END ON A COMMANDING 232/6. Around middle, Imad swings it towards long on. They were always going for the second, even if that meant taking the second on the throw. Jason Roy exhibits good fielding skills as he throws it perfectly to his opening partner. Jonny Bairstow collects the ball and disturbs the stumps with Imad diving after the bails get dislodged. Miles short.

Interesting. Mo is moved even finer now.

19.52

In the air... Moeen Ali ... DROPS IT! A full ball, around middle, Imad Wasim gets across on a knee and scoops this miles in the air. Does not have enough on it and Moeen has some sprinting to do from fine leg to his left. Gets to the ball, it touches his left palm, but goes down. A couple of runs taken.

19.41

A short ball, around middle, Khan pulls this towards deep square leg for a run.

19.32lb

Excellent delivery. Speared on the toes, around middle and leg, Azam misses his flick cum sweep and is hit on the pads. The ball deflects to the off side and the batsmen take a single. The fielder from point comes running in, has a shy at the bowler's end, but not only does he miss the stumps, he also concedes an overthrow. Two leg byes overall by the time the long on fielder can hit the stumps at Bairstow's end.

19.31wd

WIDE. A touch harsh, outside off, just about grazing the wide line, Khan lets it go but the umpire doesn't.

19.24

FOUR! Azam is underway! Tremendous bottom hand in that shot. Full, outside off, Azam Khan backs away to the leg side and drives it to the left of mid off, who dives but the ball goes through.

Imad Wasim comes in now. The batsmen crossed, so Azam will be on strike.

19.1W

OUT! CAUGHT! Fuller ball, around middle and leg, Fakhar Zaman looks to swing for the heavens and he does connect. But does not have the distance. Simple catch for Jason Roy running across to his right from long off. A fine cameo of 26 from 8 balls from the southpaw.

Oh, he is finally in. The son of Moin Khan gets one over to showcase his stuff in the final over of the innings. Here is Azam Khan, on international debut. Who will bowl the final over? Saqib Mahmood.

OUT! BOWLED! Lock, stock and barrel. Perfect yorker, around middle and off, Mohammad Hafeez comes forward, looks to flick but plays all over it. Misses and the dipping ball hits the base of the stumps. 16 runs and a wicket from the 19th over.

18.54

FOUR! Not a bad ball, but a purely beautiful shot. Full and wide outside off, Hafeez gets his wrists into play, as he turns them gloriously to make the bat face turn and then glide the ball through cover point. Beats sweeper cover to his left. Never easy to play that stroke.

18.40

A slower ball, outside off, this one lands on a length, MH looks to cut but gets a bottom edge, which goes on the bounce to the keeper.

18.36

SIX! Not quite sure full tosses are the order of the day. Yes, the world is ravishing about that stunning final over from Mitchell Starc to Andre Russell the other night in the Caribbean where he bowled an array of full tosses and yet got 5 dots in a row but certainly, that cannot be the case here. This is outside off and Hafeez swings it over Moeen Ali at mid off.

18.20

Good comeback. Perfect yorker, around middle, the Professor can only dig it out back to the bowler.

18.16

SIX! BLUDGEONED! Short boundaries and some buffet bowling. Tee off, guys. A full toss, around off, Mohammad Hafeez whips it over deep square leg! Moves to 14 from 5 balls.

SIX MORE! 22 from the over! Short and quick, but it is into the crowd. Unlucky for Mahmood. This short ball is around leg stump and Zaman is actually cramped for room as he looks to pull. But the top edge that he gets, sails over long leg! 125/3 in the last 8 overs.

17.56

SIX! Mahmood is no spinner but Fakhar has literally swept him away. Slower ball, outside leg, Fakhar Zaman picks it, gets down on a knee and sweeps this massively over fine leg! Moves to 20 from 6 balls and this stand is worth 24 from 9.

17.41

Very full, outside off, Mohammad Hafeez steers it behind point for a run.

17.31

On a length, around middle, Fakhar moves to the leg side, waits for the ball to come and then steers it towards point for a single.

17.22

A touch shorter than full this time, Zaman whips it through mid-wicket, along the ground, for a couple.

17.16

SIX! BLAST! Full ball, around the middle and leg, Fakhar Zaman swings it away over deep mid-wicket!

Third tossed up ball on the trot, with perhaps, slower pace. Livingstone tries for a repeat of the previous ball, attempting a slog but gets more height than distance on this one. Easy catch for Shaheen Afridi again at long on. Pakistan fielders swarm Afridi and Shadab. They know the importance of this wicket. It has just opened the door for their first win on this tour. Poor old Livingstone is distraught. But well played, lad.

16.26

SIX! 100 IN 42 BALLS FOR LIAM LIVINGSTONE! Fastest hundred in T20Is for England. Full, outside off, Livingstone gets under this and slogs this way over long on!

David Willey walks in now, at number 8, replacing Lewis Gregory.

16.1W

OUT! CAUGHT! The gamble works! Shadab gets a wicket on the first ball of his final over. Tossed up, outside off, Lewis Gregory reaches out and then attempts a slog through the leg side. It is a good option but he cannot get enough bat on it! Simple catch for Shaheen Afridi at the long on fence.

Interesting. Shadab Khan to bowl the 17th over. Gamble? 3-0-40-1 so far.

SIX! Livingstone moves to 97! Nervous 90s said Stuart Broad on air just before this ball. Don't think so! Length ball, outside off, Rauf misses his yorker and Livingstone pounces. Gets under it and with the full swing of the bat, sends it high into the Nottingham sky. Has enough to clear long on! 16 from the over. England need 56 from 4 overs.

15.51

Around middle and leg, Lewis Gregory whips it to deep mid-wicket for a run.

15.41

Full ball, around middle, LL whips this towards long on for a single. Turns blind for the second but is sensibly sent back.

15.32

Terrific ball, almost a yorker, Liam pushes this down to long on but it is not hit cleanly. But the batsmen take advantage of that and scamper back for the second!

15.22

Superb fielding! A short ball, outside off, Livingstone pulls it with full power through mid-wicket. The ball races away but Shadab Khan races too, to his left at the fence, gets to the ball and stops it cleanly with a dive! Two runs taken.

Run up lost. Or no. Rauf comes running in but someone moves above the sighscreen and Livingstone moves away. Makes a man sitting there get up and sit somewhere else.

15.14

TOP EDGE, FOUR! Length ball, outside off, Liam Livingstone gives this the kitchen sink. Gets an outside edge but third man is up and the ball flies over him to the fence! England need 68 from 29 balls.

14.51

Oooh, should Sohaib Maqsood have gone for the catch? Back of a length, outside off. Lewis Gregory carves it towards deep cover. Sohaib Maqsood thinks of going for the catch but decides against it and lets them take a single.

14.40

Swing and a miss! Lewis Gregory will be very disappointed with this! Full toss, outside off. Lewis Gregory swings hard but misses.

14.31

Full toss, on off. Liam Livingstone gets it off the outer half towards long off for one. Pakistan were very severe on full tosses when they were batting, England need to do the same.

14.26

SIX! Another gift by Afririd and Liam Livingstone accepts this one! Full toss, outside off. Liam Livingstone doesn't miss out on that one and carves this all the way over the point fence.

14.10

Misses out on that one! A nice full toss, outside off. Liam Livingstone swings at it once again but makes no contact. Even an edge could have taken it to the third man fence.

Just a single to end a good over by Mohammad Hasnain! Length ball, on off. Liam Livingstone swings at it with all his might but all he gets is an inside edge, past the stumps, towards short fine leg, for one. 81 needed in the last 6. Strap in, folks!

13.54

FOUR! A much-needed boundary for the hosts! Low full toss, on the pads. Liam Livingstone gets it high off the bat while looking to flick it. Shadab Khan runs to his right at deep mid-wicket and dives but the ball manages to run over the fence.

13.41

A perfect yorker, on off. Lewis Gregory pushes it to back to the bowler. Now, Hasnain looks to stop that and gets a hand on it as well. The ball rolls back dangerously and hence, Livingstone rushes back into his crease. Might have been out had the ball hit. But it goes past the stumps and now, Gregory calls for the single. However, Livingstone has to do a u-turn, completing a full circle and then taking off for the single. The mid on fielder misses that though. He could have easily had Livingstone run out at the striker's end but he chooses to go at the bowler's end. Gregory is easily in but the throw is a monstrous one. Well wide of the stumps, past the bowler, wide of Mohammad Rizwan, the keeper and down to third man. There is a chance for the overthrow but poor Livingstone has run way too far!

13.32

Length ball, outside off. Lewis Gregory comes down the track and then waits before tapping it towards deep mid-wicket for a couple.

Lewis Gregory, who played brilliantly in that third ODI, comes onto bat now, at number 7, replacing his skipper, Eoin Morgan.

OUT! TAKEN! The Pakistan supporters are celebrating as if they have won the game already! This is well bowled by Wasim. He drags it a little shorter so Morgan has to reach for it as he goes for the sweep. This time he gets more elevation than distance on this one and Haris Rauf takes it with ease at deep square leg.

11.31

11.21

Flatter ball, on off. Morgan tucks it to deep mid-wicket for one.

LBW REVIEW TAKEN BUT NOT OUT! Pakistan waste a review as this was going down the leg side! A screeching yorker, on the pads. Liam Livingstone gets hit on the pads as he misses his flick. Pakistan decide to review after their appeal for LBW was turned down. There is nothing on the UltraEdge but the Ball Tracker shows that it was doing too much and going down the leg side. So, it will be a leg bye in the end as the batters crossed over once the ball rolled to the off side.

OUT! CAUGHT! Shadab Khan dismisses the dangerous Jason Roy! The googly, outside off, fuller in length, Roy backs away to the leg side and then looks to go inside out. But he is done in by the inward turn and skies this over extra cover. Easy catch for Babar Azam. Roy could have possibly gone over Shadab's hand but it is so easy to pass a comment as an afterthought. Seems like Jason did not pick the googly at all. But end of an entertaining innings.

4.3W

OUT! TAKEN! Another one bites the dust and England are in big trouble now! This is not the start they wanted! Hasnain digs a short one, around off. Moeen Ali reckons that he can send this sailing over the mid-wicket fence and goes for the pull. But he gets the top edge towards deep mid-wicket. Haris Rauf runs back to his left from short mid-wicket and at the same time Sohaib Maqsood is running to his right from deep mid-wicket. No calling from either and it is Rauf who takes the catch. Maqsood sees that at the last moment and bails out. But Rauf ends up diving after taking the catch and knocks Maqsood down! Thankfully, both players are safe. This reminds us of a horrific Steve Waugh-Jason Gillespie collision way back in 1999, in a Test against Sri Lanka in the island nation, where Steve Waugh rammed his face into Gillespie's shoulder. Nothing of that sort here. Pakistan well on top.

FOUR! There is only one way Roy knows how to bat and this chase is perfect for him to play that way! Length ball, outside off. Roy throws his hands at it and the ball races to the extra cover fence. Shaheen Afridi doesn't like that and has a few presumably friendly words to say to Roy. Jason stands still, gives a stare and then nods his head in an agreement to something. The match referee might just want to have a word later.

3.51

Back of a length, on the sixth stump line. Moeen Ali runs it down to third man for a single.

3.41

Back of a length, on off. Punched towards covers for a quick single.

Moeen Ali comes up next, at number 4, replacing Jonny Bairstow. He is going to have his wits about him because, Shaheen is running in hard. As per the original scorecard, Liam Livingstone was to bat at 4, and this seems to be a last-minute change in plan.

3.3W

OUT! TAKEN! That is a huge wicket and who other than Shaheen Afridi to provide it! He bowls a pacy bouncer, right around the rib cage. Jonny Bairstow goes for the pull but the ball hurries onto him and he gets the top edge. The ball goes high in the air towards short fine leg but Imad Wasim settles under it to take it. 191 needed in 99 balls now!

1.50

Mohammad Rizwan was convinced that this was a wicket! Back of a length, outside off. Bairstow is beaten as he looks to drive it and Mohammad Rizwan throws the ball thinking that there is some bat on it. But the umpire is unmoved. While all of this is happening, Roy thinks of sneaking in a single but Bairstow is unmoved too. Babar Azam decides not to review this one and rightly so as there was nothing on UltraEdge.

Back of a length, outside off. Pushed to covers.

Jonny Bairstow walks in at number 3, replacing Dawid Malan. Meanwhile, Afridi is getting his finger taped.

1.3W

OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! Yup, he has taken that one cleanly! That is a superb take by Afridi! This is well bowled too, a touch shorter and slower in pace. The ball comes slowly off the pitch and Malan gets it back to the bowler while looking to play it on the off side. Now, Afridi gets low in his follow-through, goes to his right and the ball sticks in his right hand. Voila! England lose their first in this big chase!

0.31

Shorter ball, outside off. Malan cuts it to cover and gets off the mark.

0.20

NOT OUT! That dropped just short of Shaheen Afridi! Loopy ball, outside off. Malan ends up chipping it towards mid off. Shaheen Afridi runs forward and dives to get to the ball. He isn't sure as to whether he has taken it and suggests the same to the umpire. They go upstairs and a couple of replays are enough to show that the ball bounced before going in his hands.

Is that a catch? The soft signal is not out. The ball has clearly bounced before going in the hands.

0.10

Play and a miss! Imad starts with a nice tossed up ball, outside off. The angle takes it away as he is bowling 'round the wicket. Malan looks to drive but misses.

19.41

16.51

A length ball, slower in pace, Fakhar Zaman gets across and pulls it to fine leg for a single.

16.41

A short ball now, Hafeez swivels for the pull but the ball hits the top potion of the bat. Lands in no man's land near square leg. A single taken.

16.30

Around off, Mohammad Hafeez pushes it back down the track.

Is is time for Azam Khan? No, the Professor comes along. Here is Mohammad Hafeez.

16.2W

OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Babar Azam departs for 85 from 49 balls. End of a stunning exhibition of batting. Willey strikes in his final over. Full, outside off, a touch wide as well, Babar looks to drive but misses. Now, there is a noise as the ball goes past the bat. England appeal but the umpire is unmoved. Jonny Bairstow wastes no time in convincing Eoin Morgan to go for the review. Replays indicate that the bat has not hit the ground and UltraEdge indicates a spike when the ball goes past the bat. End of a terrific innings. Can England keep Pakistan under 210?

FOUR! That's the way to play. Outside off, on a length, Fakhar Zaman steers it very late, past the keeper and beats short third man to his left! 18 from the over, but a wicket as well. 34/2 in the last 2 overs.

A demotion in this game. Normally an opener, Fakhar Zaman has been sent in at number 4. Is this a ploy for the future as well?

15.5W

OUT! CAUGHT! Mindless batting. One can understand Pakistan wanting to get to 200 and beyond and keep the momentum going, but to just swing listlessly on every ball is a literal insult to the opening partnership. Fractionally short, outside off, Sohaib Maqsood pulls with all his might. But it is flat and straight to David Willey at deep mid-wicket. Not an easy catch though, with the sun coming right in his eyes.

15.40

A short ball, around middle, SM gets across, looks to pull but misses.

15.32

Outside off, Sohaib steers it behind point and gets a couple.

15.26

SIX MORE! Is this West Indies batting or Pakistan? 6th six already! Outside off, another slower one, Maqsood gets under this one, walks across and biffs it over mid off who is up. Clears the ropes as well.

15.16

SIX! BANG! A length ball, slower in pace, Sohaib Maqsood swings it into orbit and clears mid-wicket with ease! Moves to 11 from 3 balls.

Around off, Maqsood punches it down to long on for a single. 16 from the over, but a wicket as well. Lewis Gregory's figures read 2-0-25-1.

14.54

EDGED, DROPPED, FOUR! Gregory could have had 2 in 2. Outside off, on a length, Sohaib Maqsood looks to drive but his feet are flat footed. The ball wobbles off the seam, moves away and takes the outside edge. It should have been a regulatory catch for Jonny Bairstow but the ball continues to wobble after taking the edge and Bairstow is unable to follow the seam. Gets hit hard on the right hand, and worse, parries the ball behind to the third man fence. Wrings his hand in pain.

Who will walk in now? Some pinch hitter? How about sending Azam Khan? Nope. Trusted experience. Sohaib Maqsood walks in at number 3, replacing Mohammad Rizwan.

14.4W

OUT! CAUGHT! Stop the press. I repeat, stop the press. England's 'A' team has taken a wicket at last. A slower delivery, into the pitch, back of a length. Rizwan arches back, aiming to play the upper cut over his opposite number, Jonny Bairstow, but the ball follows him and cramps him for room. He almost falls over and the ball takes a thin top edge and dies down on Bairstow but he does well to watch it till the last moment and dive to his left to take the catch. End of a quickfire knock from Rizwan.

14.34

FOUR! AUDACIOUS! On a length, outside off, Mohammad Rizwan jumps down the track and smashes it wide of mid off, over his head and to his right, down the ground! 150-RUN STAND IS UP IN 87 BALLS!

14.21

Another slower ball, outside off, fuller, the skipper goes hard at it and slices it over cover for a single.

14.16

SIX! Up, up and away! Slower ball from Gregory to start his second over and Babar is ready. On a length, outside off, Azam swings this miles into the stands at long on! The stand is worth 145 in 85 balls with Babar making 82 of those!

Right. 6 overs of carnage left. Lewis Gregory has been called back. 1-0-9-0 so far. Did well as per the situation!

TOSS - Up goes the coin and it lands in favor of Eoin Morgan. ENGLAND WILL BOWL FIRST!

Well, even before the game starts, we have some news for you. It is from the Pakistan camp as Azam Khan is set to make his International debut.  He is the son of former Pakistani keeper, Moin Khan.

Hello and a very warm welcome to the first of three T20Is between England and Pakistan. The hosts have been bolstered due to the return of the likes of Eoin Morgan, Jos Buttler, Jason Roy etc. They are the much stronger of the two sides and go in this game with the tag of favorites. Pakistan, on the other hand, are coming off of a disappointing loss in the ODI series. They are still searching for their first win of the tour and would want to get that here. Will they be able to? Or will England continue their dominance? We will find out. With that, a very warm welcome once again. Stay tuned for toss and more updates.
