OUT! TAKEN! Another one bites the dust and England are in big trouble now! This is not the start they wanted! Hasnain digs a short one, around off. Moeen Ali reckons that he can send this sailing over the mid-wicket fence and goes for the pull. But he gets the top edge towards deep mid-wicket. Haris Rauf runs back to his left from short mid-wicket and at the same time Sohaib Maqsood is running to his right from deep mid-wicket. No calling from either and it is Rauf who takes the catch. Maqsood sees that at the last moment and bails out. But Rauf ends up diving after taking the catch and knocks Maqsood down! Thankfully, both players are safe. This reminds us of a horrific Steve Waugh-Jason Gillespie collision way back in 1999, in a Test against Sri Lanka in the island nation, where Steve Waugh rammed his face into Gillespie's shoulder. Nothing of that sort here. Pakistan well on top.

FOUR! There is only one way Roy knows how to bat and this chase is perfect for him to play that way! Length ball, outside off. Roy throws his hands at it and the ball races to the extra cover fence. Shaheen Afridi doesn't like that and has a few presumably friendly words to say to Roy. Jason stands still, gives a stare and then nods his head in an agreement to something. The match referee might just want to have a word later.

Jonny Bairstow goes for the pull but the ball hurries onto him and he gets the top edge. Jonny Bairstow walks in at number 3, replacing Dawid Malan. Meanwhile, Afridi is getting his finger taped.

OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! Yup, he has taken that one cleanly! That is a superb take by Afridi! This is well bowled too, a touch shorter and slower in pace. The ball comes slowly off the pitch and Malan gets it back to the bowler while looking to play it on the off side. Now, Afridi gets low in his follow-through, goes to his right and the ball sticks in his right hand. Voila! England lose their first in this big chase!

Appeal for LBW! Length ball, lands on off and nips back in. Malan gets hit on the pads as he looks to drive it. Afridi goes up in arms but the umpire is unmoved. It looks like there was some bat on that one, plus it was going down the leg side.

FIVE WIDES! Free runs for England! Afridi starts on the middle stump and the ball swings down the leg side. Mohammad Rizwan dives but has no chance to stop the ball as it runs to the fine leg fence.

Not an easy catch though, with the sun coming right in his eyes.

Well, even before the game starts, we have some news for you. It is from the Pakistan camp as Azam Khan is set to make his International debut.  He is the son of former Pakistani keeper, Moin Khan.

Hello and a very warm welcome to the first of three T20Is between England and Pakistan. The hosts have been bolstered due to the return of the likes of Eoin Morgan, Jos Buttler, Jason Roy etc. They are the much stronger of the two sides and go in this game with the tag of favorites. Pakistan, on the other hand, are coming off of a disappointing loss in the ODI series. They are still searching for their first win of the tour and would want to get that here. Will they be able to?
