A good batting show put up by Oman! The batters were on the attack especially against the spinners. There was a period when it was raining sixes in Oman. Prajapati and Maqsood knocked a few boundaries but could not stick around for long. Then came a crucial stand between Aaqib Ilyas and Ayaan Khan who kept scoring runs at a good rate, although there were a little lucky with the dropped catches. But eventually, the former was sent back on 60 runs. After his departure, the batters could not find any inspiration and ended their innings at 159/8.

A good comeback by Sri Lanka in the death overs. They had lost the track in the middle overs and Oman did not hesitate to pounce on it. But in the end they fell short of the 170-run mark, which looked achievable at one stage.

Hello and a warm welcome to all! It is time for the second T20I between Oman and Sri Lanka. The Islanders did take a 1-nil lead, but they did get a taste of the UAE conditions. Their top-order collapsed and would hope that does not happen this time around. Oman, on the other hand, would be quite happy with their performance both with the bat and the ball. They would hope they can put up a solid effort even today. Will they be able to steal a victory? We shall find out soon. Stay tuned for toss and team updates.
