করোনার (COVID-19) কারণে এক বছর পিছিয়ে গিয়েছে অলিম্পিক (Olympics)। আজ টোকিও অলিম্পিক (Tokyo Olympics) উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠান শুরু হয়েছে বিকেল ৪.৩০ (ভারতীয় সময় অনুযায়ী)। করোনার কারণে এ বারের উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠান অন্যবারেরে মতো জাঁকজমকপূর্ণ হচ্ছে না। সংক্রমণের ভয়ে অধিকাংশ দেশেরই অ্যাথলিট সরে দাঁড়িয়েছেন ওপেনিং থেকে। ১২৭ জনের টিম নিয়ে অলিম্পিক গিয়েছে ভারত (India)। যার মধ্যে মাত্র ২২জন অ্যাথলিটকে (athletes) দেখা যাবে টোকিও গেমসের (Tokyo Games) অনুষ্ঠানিক উদ্বোধনে। টোকিও অলিম্পিকের উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে ভারতের ২২জন অ্যাথলিটের পাশাপাশি উপস্থিত থাকবেন ৬ কর্তাও।
